Connect your AI assistant to BoKalk

What you get for free, without an account

Your AI assistant can calculate housing costs with the same rules as the BoKalk app: what a property costs per month, what the household can afford, how much is left to live on (KALP), what happens if the interest rate rises, and how several properties compare. No login is needed.

On this route the assistant cannot read, change, or save your properties and household in BoKalk. Each calculation instead returns a link that carries the property's details into the app, where the calculation is redone with your household.

• compare_properties — several properties ranked by monthly cost.
• get_reference_data — interest rates, caps, and defaults with version and source.

What you get with BoKalk Premium

If you sign in with the same account as in the BoKalk app, the assistant can also see your saved properties and your household, keep calculating on the properties, and save new properties to your account. Properties the assistant has saved are marked in the app. If you want to remove something, you do it in the app.

Seeing and saving properties is part of BoKalk Premium. With an account without Premium, the assistant calculates as on the free route.

1. ChatGPT. Add BoKalk from the plugin directory once it is listed there.
2. Claude (web and app). Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the address and click Connect.
3. Claude Code. claude mcp add --transport http bokalk https://mcp.bokalk.se/mcp
4. Other assistants. Enter the same address as an MCP server with Streamable HTTP transport.

The instructions apply once the connection opens. Until then, the server rejects connection attempts.

With BoKalk Premium

1. Claude (web and app). Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the address and click Connect. Claude opens BoKalk's sign-in, where you sign in with Google or Apple, using the same account as in the app.
2. Claude Code. claude mcp add --transport http bokalk-konto https://mcp.bokalk.se/konto Then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose bokalk-konto and sign in.
3. ChatGPT. Sign-in with a BoKalk account comes to ChatGPT once BoKalk is listed in ChatGPT's directory. This page will be updated then.
4. Other assistants. Enter the address as an MCP server with Streamable HTTP transport and OAuth sign-in.

The Premium route opens once it is in service. This page will be updated when sign-in can be used.

What to ask

• "What does a condominium for 3,200,000 SEK with a 4,850 SEK monthly fee cost if we earn 38,000 and 34,000 SEK before tax?"
• "What can we afford if we have 600,000 SEK saved?"
• "How does the monthly cost change if the interest rate rises by two percentage points?"
• "Compare these two listings."

With BoKalk Premium you can also ask about your saved properties:

• "Which of my saved properties has the lowest monthly cost?"
• "Save this listing as a property in BoKalk."

About the results

The calculations follow BoKalk's rules and reference data. The answer states which assumptions were made and which version of the reference data was used. These are example calculations, not financial advice. The answers are written by your AI assistant; BoKalk provides the calculation. The assistant's own conclusions are outside BoKalk's responsibility.

The connection is meant for your own housing planning. It may not be used to assess anyone else's creditworthiness or as a basis for credit decisions, see the terms of service.

Privacy

What you write in the conversation is processed by the assistant's provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) under its terms. The assistant sends the data the calculation needs to BoKalk's server, for example price, fee, income, and savings. The server calculates and answers without saving the data. BoKalk logs which tool was called, whether it succeeded, and how long it took — never the content of the call. The free route requires no account.

With BoKalk Premium, sign-in goes through WorkOS, a company in the United States that handles sign-in for BoKalk. What the assistant reads about your properties and household is sent to the assistant's provider, which may process it outside the EU. What the assistant saves ends up in your BoKalk account, like everything else you save in the app. You remove the connection in the assistant's settings.
